911 & Declaration of Independence, American Patriotic Events

With Great Pride I Salute You Soldier!

I am no, and have never had the honor to be, a soldier, but am merely a man who realized the great trespass we the people committed against those who, as luck would have it, were in the wrong place at the wrong time, Vietnam.

Many of you hate what you did and hate what occurred, and I submit to you that no matter what happened, more of your time, if not all, was in honorable compelled service (Kennedy's draft), and this nation, claiming so much in the name of freedom and honor, her people, turned their back on you.

So with a heavy heart I did what I could to help one of your own achieve something for you, in your name and in your interest in the virtual world of Second Life, whose audience is largely the handicapped, to reach as many of you possible there, to help them heal from these wounds through a photo exhibit known as the Vietnam War Memorial Museum.

And it is in this spirit that I salute you all, I thank you all, and wish each and every one of you the best throughout your lives. To me you lack capacity of ill intention in the face of enemies who often hide behind the innocent by establishing manufacture of weapons amongst them, or even duck behind innocent civilians like cowards, and also it is in this that I find my greatest sense of tragedy in your cause. In particular to those coming home from Vietnam, we the people only exacerbated your distrust to further erode any stability that could be found in the idea of "the good of man."

Today it is our enemies who continue to carry this horrid message forward, and thus, why more than ever, we, the people of this nation, need to support you, and display that support with the pride of the father of a newborn child.

So please enjoy this day, America's International Birthday by the Unanimous Declaration of Independence, a birthday that you and your service earned for America. Know too that we the people wish to assure you that our support of the causes for which you served, and for you and your fellow brothers, is a continuing support from generation to generation. We appreciate all that you and your family have sacrificed, more often than not, while we continued living our lives in comfort, oblivious to what is facing America and wishes this nation and her peoples destruction.

This appreciation of you and your service is a debt that, as well as 911, is something we the people must never forget!

May God Bless each of you and your family throughout eternity,

Toddy Littman

P.S. The image above was created in Second Life and allowed an easy way to show the flames on those buildings were not the flames of success of an attack on America but, instead, are the flames of patriotism that brought all of us to set aside what separates us.
